Use the Verse of the Week for Bible, Handwriting, Spelling, and Grammar.
Verse of the week: Esther 4:14 “If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?”
Bible: Talk about the verse:
How can Esther help her relatives? Why does she hesitate?
When have you hesitated and why?
Why is she afraid? How does she become brave?
Does God put people in certain situations to have an opportunity to help others?

Integrate Science & History:
For Science, think about Esther experiencing fear and anxiety because of her situation. These are functions of our body’s Nervous System. Research and read about some of the Human Body Systems like Circulatory, Digestive, Muscular, & Skeletal. (Unit 9 Big Fat Science Book)
For History, think about Esther’s bravery. In our country innovations have required bravery for things that are now commonplace. The invention of the airplane, for example required lots of courage and determination. Read and research about brave & innovative people like the Wright Brothers, Charles Lindbergh, and especially Amelia Earhart. Make sure you write about your favorite parts in the Science and History sections of your notebook.
