Crazy Thankful!

1 Chronicles 16:8
Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.

Facts:
1. Give thanks to the Lord... Give credit where credit is due. Don’t just internally like or appreciate something; thank the Source!

Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. (James 1:17)

2. And proclaim his greatness... This is the purpose of my existence. Out of appreciation of what God has done for me, I want everyone else to know, and they can’t know if Believers don’t tell about it.

But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? (Romans 10:14)

3. Let the whole world know what he has done...  This is a direct response to one of the last things Jesus ever said to his disciples, and I am a Disciple!

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age... This is exactly what I am so crazy thankful about in the first place !!!!!

Dear God,
You are always with me. That’s a fact that never changes with my circumstances, and that is what I want to be found faithful sharing from now until your Son returns. I am so glad you don’t leave me to my own devices and that you give me such good things. Help my inward  thankfulness be continually outwardly expressed so others can hear and know how great you are. I love you so much and thank you and pray in Jesus’ name, amen.
